This miracle occurred four days before the crucifixion of Jesus. When Jesus came across a fig tree that had leaves and no fruit He withered the tree. This miracle was also used by Jesus to teach us about being fruitful for the LORD and believing, prayer and faith to know the prayer will be answered.
